Certificate of Authorization (COA) Renewal Notices have been sent, via e-mail if you have a current e-mail address on file or via e-mail if you do not have a current e-mail address on file, and will expire on June 30, 2014.
Due to the implementation of the new eLicensing system, the Board will
no longer be mailing pocket licenses or providing wall certificates
for framing. Licenses will be e-mailed in a .pdf format.
Therefore, it is imperative that you keep the Board apprised of your current e-mail addresses and all contact information.
Renewal postcards will no longer be mailed and will also be e-mailed.
Thank you for your patience during this transition.
Important Reminder to Registered Landscape Architects - Each entity that practices or offers to practice landscape architecture in Rhode Island must hold a current Certificate of Authorization. This required "COA" is in addition to the individual's registration stamp. Check to make sure that your firm (whether sole proprietorship, corporation, partnership or LLC) has a current COA. Contact the Board of Examiners of Landscape Architects with any questions.
